Monday….Monday….I hate working on Monday’s but at least I get to wear whatever I want in my line of work. I adore cargo pants because even though they can be casual, they are easier to dress up as a work outfit in comparison to jeans.

I found these JBrand ones at Marshall’s and I had to have them. They are comfortable and come with a million ways to style them. I hope the cargo pants bug hangs around for a while but even if it doesn’t, you bet I will still be rocking mine for a few more seasons.

I am obsessed with shoes; this is not news. In fact, I think I follow right in the footsteps of  Imelda Marcos.  The wife of former Philippine president Fernard Marcos is famous for her collection of 2700 pairs of designer shoes.

It is also no news that I am the Duchess of bargain hunting. Unlike Imelda,  in most cases, the designer prices are way out of the league for most of us.  Do not despair, savvy designers have perfected the art of knocking off luxurious brands to cater to shoe maniacs without breaking the bank. While the knockoffs are somewhat difficult to locate and match to luxury brands,  it’s still worth the time and fun to hunt the net for them.

This simple and lady like Anne Taylor sheath is one my very first purchases at the store.  Believe it or not it is a 00 petite. I was stunned by how tiny I am but nowadays I am used to it. Plus I get the added advantage of shopping juniors sections. Anyway, the dress is a great transition into spring because it is neutral with a sophisticated pop of color.

The Max Azria pumps are the love of my life when it comes to shoes. They are simply impeccable. Going on three years and still as beautiful as they were on day one!

My tights/stockings are from Kmart. Do not sleep on this store people, some good stuff is in there…
