Polish , which opened its debut UK store in London last year, has announced a partnership with the London College of Fashion to develop and invest in emerging designers.

The retailer sponsored the London College of Fashion’s BA 2019 graduate show, as part of LPP’s “broader commitment to nurturing diverse design talent” across Europe, and the fashion brand also awarded two work placements.

Reserved awarded two final-year design students, Kwan Li and Soorhee Rhee, with six-month work placements at its design studios in Warsaw and Gdansk, they will each take up their roles after graduation. In addition, both students also received 10,000 pounds towards the development of their final collections.

LPP SA chief executive and co-founder, Marek Piechocki, said of the collaboration in a press statement: “The success of LPP and Reserved over the past three decades is in no small part thanks to the passion, talent and diversity of our employees. Sustaining this, both for Reserved and the wider fashion industry, relies on re-investing in emerging talent.

“London is a global city that the retail industry and consumers alike look to for inspiration – so partnering with London College of Fashion to support its BA18 showcase was an easy decision. I am already excited to see what new talent we are able to work with in future years.”

I’m delighted that our partnership with Reserved will give two of our students the chance to fulfil their ambitions, at a dynamic company that realises the value of investing in future talent.”
